For one of our prestigious international Client in the energy sector based in Italy, we are searching for a highly motivated Field Engineer to join its team. The selected candidate will provide Technical Advisory Services and support the coordination of installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, performance criteria, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze technical information from authorized sources to assess project requirements within the assigned scope of work.
Execute commissioning of AC and DC voltage VSDs in Low and Medium Voltage applications (up to 11 kV), ensuring performance meets design and contractual expectations.
Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support during commissioning, warranty, and maintenance activities.
Suggest technical improvements and corrective actions to Clients.
Prepare clear and accurate reports following commissioning or service activities.
Identify and report opportunities for quality and process improvements.
Deliver timely, accurate, and regular commissioning status updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or associate degree in electro-technical disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects; experience in metals, container ports, or paper industries is a plus.
Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems used in industrial VSD applications.
Basic understanding of power semiconductor technologies: Thyristors, IGBTs, IEGTs, IGCTs.
Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems (circuit breakers, metal-clad switchgear, metal enclosures, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, ShareFile, and Microsoft Teams.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in working with clients, suppliers, and various internal/external stakeholders.
Availability to travel 75%+, within Europe and internationally, sometimes with limited notice.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Oracle ERP.
Experience with MS Project.
