Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Support to the person in charge of the design, planning, elaboration and graphic development of all programs related to the main and secondary brands, the Look of the Games and all elements of the visual identity of the Milan Cortina 2026 Games, with the aim of strengthening the brand, generating business opportunities for other functional areas, sponsors and partners and developing the strengths of Italian design and creativity in the world.
He/She will:
- Support for the functional areas, partners, designers, external agencies, printers and other suppliers of Milano Cortina 2026 to ensure the highest quality product and a single tone of voice in all design projects;
- Support the Creative Director in all design projects, from idea, moodboard, mock-up to final presentations;
- Participate in concept, creation and development of some secondary brands of Milano Cortina 2026 Games within the Games visual identity;
- Participation in the design process of the Look of the Games visual identity that will be applied in all sports and non-sports venues and cities during the Games;
- Supporting the Licensing area and its design agency in the creation and development of layouts for all licensed product lines, ensuring the correct application of the Games' visual identity;
- Support in ensuring that the design and selection of suppliers and materials follow the Foundation's sustainability standards.
- Bachelor in graphic design or related
- Master/ MSc Degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in the creative field
- Demonstrated passion for design and creativity
- Ability to work productively and in harmony with participating designers, copywriters and project managers
- Attention to design trends, knowledge of the dynamics of creating and using brands and the design industry in general, with the ability to produce useful visual references to engage clients and stakeholders
- English - Full work proficiency
- Adobe (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
