As an Assistant Manager, you'll be the right hand of the Store Manager, actively contributing to the management and success of the store. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Manager in maximizing store performance in terms of turnover and margin
- Contributing to the effective and efficient management of display spaces and product enhancement
- Assisting in controlling product reordering times and methods
- Collaborating to improve department productivity, focusing on deli and produce counters
- Actively participating in promotional activities and customer communication
- Ensuring a high level of customer service, consistent with the planned commercial and display formats
- Supporting the Manager in controlling cash management and reconciliation with receipts
- Contributing to the management and coordination of the store team
- Assisting in preparing weekly shifts and ensuring the presence of a manager on duty
- Collaborating to maintain a serene and collaborative work environment
- Supporting the Manager in completing HACCP documentation and ensuring store cleanliness
- Reporting any malfunctions of store equipment
- Contagious passion for Italian food and gastronomic culture
- Previous experience in roles of responsibility in the retail or food sector
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer orientation and leadership skills
- Fluent knowledge of English and Italian
- Flexibility and availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations
