Grocer Vision, launched in 2019 by The Grocer magazine, has quickly established itself as a leading provider of branded content and lead generation for both the world’s top FMCG companies and the suppliers looking to partner with them.
From Coca-Cola and Nestlé to TikTok and YouTube, Grocer Vision’s mission is to create quality content that drives our clients’ growth and provides a high-value information resource for our audience of food and drink professionals.
We have offices in Gatwick and London, UK; Montpellier, France; Singapore and Chicago, US. In line with the Company’s current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work 2 days per week from our London office (+1-2 days per month in the Crawley office) and to work remotely for the rest of the week.
Position: Full time (35hr per week), permanent
Location: London / Hybrid and 1-2 days per month in the Crawley office.
Do you have writing or journalistic experience and can demonstrate a passion and talent for writing, editing, and creating digital content? Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail and passionate about digital publishing? Do you love project management, content and marketing and are looking to build a career in the exciting world of food & drink media, advertising, and PR? If so, Grocer Vision is seeking its Commercial Content Editor to work with the Commercial Content Director writing and project managing thought-provoking digital campaigns as well as coming up with new ideas on attracting new content and providing support to both our sales teams and the clients, agencies, and creatives with whom we partner
What you'll be doing:
- Research, write and edit commercial content and promotional copy.
- Create and control project schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitor and produce reports on the performance of client campaigns.
- Work proactively with the Commercial Content Director to generate new content, audience, and revenue opportunities.
- Generate fresh ideas for attracting new content.
- Provide support to our sales teams.
- Provide support to clients, agencies, and creatives with whom we partner.
- Attend video shoots/bespoke events occasionally.
- Participate in client calls to help win new business
What you'll need
- Passion for editing, writing and content creation.
- Highly organised and ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Ability to research new topics and relevant subject areas effectively.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong client relationship skills.
- Entrepreneurial, a problem-solver, detailed reader/line editor and creative thinker.
- Journalistic background- desirable
- Experience of commercial content – desirable
- Awareness of project management tools e.g. Monday.com, Excel, Teams and Google Sheets – desirable
- An understanding of digital publishing and editorial standards – desirable
- Experience or knowledge of Google Analytics / web analytics – desirable.
