We are an Italian startup studio and we specialize in creating SaaS startups with a B2B focus. Every project we undertake combines a simple user experience, advanced data gathering and processing as well as AI elements.

Our team is made up of founders, investors and serial entrepreneurs, open innovation enthusiasts, lean startup fanatics and experts in cloud technologies, user experience and digital marketing.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer / Backend Developer to be responsible for the technical development of our solutions. You will be building and maintaining scalable and reliable architecture and backlog.

Being in a flexible and fast-changing environment, you will play a critical role in taking strategic choices and will feel the impact of these choices right away, having the opportunity to actively participate in the evolution of our technologies and achievement of our mission.

You’ll work closely with Startup Bakery's operating team. The Technology Department in Startup Bakery will provide support in all product strategy implementations, structures and key decisions making processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing scalable APIs
• Contributing to the development of our core algorithms
• Developing and managing databases and applications
• Working with data scientists and analysts to improve our software solutions

Must have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant fields
• 2+ Years experience as a Backend Software Engineer
• Proficiency with server side languages - we work with Node.js, but we’re also Python/Scala/Java friendly

Nice to have:

• Master's Degree, PhD, Certifications or similar

• Experience with big data and AI projects
