• SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to acquire quality equipment, materials, and services within budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and other departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and maintain a supplier database.
• Analyze and review supplier proposals, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any supply chain issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including delivery times, quality of products/services, and overall reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Design Department. 2. Maintain the BOQ with updates from suppliers until after awarding the contract.
• Receiving the price quotations. (competitive quotes)
• Prepare schedule of comparison
• Reiterate with designers and suppliers for finalization of quantity and quality.
• Report day by day to the management in Italy

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the oil & gas industry, construction, EPC.

Knowledge of procurement processes.

Basic knowledge with oil and gas equipment, materials, and services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken)

• Sicim operates in several foreign countries, and in this instance, we need to hire (with Italian Contracts, obviously) a Procurement Engineer for our office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
• The Candidate will work on a rotational basis in Saudi Arabia, with international and local transportation care and charge the Company, accommodation care and charge the Company, insurance by the Company.
• The Procurement Engineer will be "Corporate", after the first period in Milan will be mobilized in KSA
