For renewable projects we are looking for:
QUALITY ENGINEER
Our Onshore Quality Management Team seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to support our onshore Wind and Solar projects across Europe and Australia. This role requires substantial experience throughout the project lifecycle of large infrastructure projects, with a priority on PVs and/or the Wind Industry. Duties and Responsibilities: ·Quality Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement quality strategies for onshore projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 10006:2017. ·Quality Assurance & Control: Set up quality planning, assurance, and control methods, conducting risk-based assessments for each project. ·Inspection & Oversight: Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site inspections, managing contractor performance and resolving quality disputes as necessary. ·Non-Conformance Management: Assess and resolve non-conformities, identifying root causes and overseeing corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers. ·Supplier Collaboration: Negotiate Quality Assurance Agreements with suppliers and act as an auditor in line with ISO 19011:2018 to support supplier qualification and continuous improvement. ·Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality activities, prepare quality reports, and ensure all relevant documentation is available for project handover to Operations.
·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). ·Certified Quality Auditor and/or Quality Manager (or equivalent) from a recognized professional body. ·Proven track record in quality management within the PV, Wind, or construction industries. ·Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards, particularly ISO 9001:2015, ISO 10006:2017, and ISO 19011:2018. ·Proficient in root cause analysis, auditing techniques, and problem-solving. ·Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on specification writing and supplier collaboration. ·Project management skills, including resource planning and budgeting. ·Practical experience in the PV, electrical, wind, construction, or manufacturing sectors, particularly with installation techniques and methodologies. ·Experience in monitoring contractor performance and ensuring quality compliance throughout all project phases. ·Knowledge of solar industry standards and a network within the Southern European solar market is advantageous.
