Our client is a multinational company specialized in the production of fibre-based materials, including: specialized paper, industrial materials and packaging products. Its applications cover a wide range of industries, including: filtration, packaging, construction, automotive, electronics and healthcare. It is active in several industrial sectors and produces a wide range of specialized materials which are used in many different applications. The resource we are looking for will operate on the Piedmont site for the RELEASE -LABELS lines paper in Maintenance team.
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of electronic equipment and systems within our plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electronic systems, along with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians. This role requires proactive problem-solving abilities, a commitment to ensuring optimal functionality and reliability of electronic system. Main responsibilities - Supervise a team of electronic maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to operations while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
- Diagnose complex electronic system issues, utilizing troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Oversee the calibration and testing of electronic equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, coordinating procurement activities as needed to ensure adequate supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess the performance of existing electronic systems and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance functionality and reliability.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs, ensuring accuracy and completeness for record-keeping purposes.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness among maintenance staff to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Stay updated on advancements in electronic technology and industry best practices, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into maintenance processes as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in electronic maintenance, with at least 5 of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems, including circuitry, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to electronic maintenance activities.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office applications.
