The Tooling and Material Keeper Junior is responsible for assisting in the management and organization of tools and materials used in aircraft maintenance. This role involves maintaining an accurate inventory, ensuring tools and materials are in good condition, and making them readily available for maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Assist in managing the inventory of tools and materials, ensuring that all items are properly cataloged and recorded.
- Assist with regular checks to verify the condition and availability of tools and materials, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Help ensure proper storage of all tools and materials to maintain their condition and comply with safety standards.
- Facilitate the check-in and check-out process of tools and materials for maintenance personnel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the implementation of inventory control systems and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize loss or damage.
- Participate in tool and material audits, assisting in reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to understand tool and material requirements, helping ensure that necessary items are available for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the daily review of tasks specified in the Task Planner and help ensure their completion.
- Assist with the ordering, receiving, and inspection of new tools and materials, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the tool and material storage areas.
- Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and procedures related to aircraft maintenance operations.
- Adhere to management directives and maintain active horizontal and vertical communication.
- Maintain (clean) the vehicle fleet.
- Assist in thorough tool assignment processes before and after use.
- High school leaving certificate /Diploma
- Aerospace Industry Knowledge is a plus
- Basic understanding of tooling and materials used in aircraft maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions and maintain detailed records.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Driving License
- The Candidate must have the right to live and be eligible to work in EU.
