The Assembler is responsible for the accurate, hands-on assembly of aerospace landing gear components in accordance with dimensional drawings, diagrams, and approved work instructions. This role requires close attention to detail to ensure all assemblies meet AS9100 quality standards, customer specifications, and production requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Install hardware and components using appropriate hand and power tools, ensuring proper fit, torque, and alignment in accordance with aerospace specifications.
• Follow detailed assembly drawings, diagrams, work instructions, and routings to produce complete assemblies that meet customer, regulatory, and AS9100 quality requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify all components and hardware are correctly installed and conform to engineering and quality standards.
• Inspect parts prior to assembly for physical damage, plating defects, or non-conformances, and ensure issues are identified, documented, and communicated per AS9100 procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with aerospace traceability and documentation requirements.
• Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as applicable aerospace and regulatory requirements.
• Properly use and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices provided by CFN.
• Promptly report missing, damaged, or defective tools, equipment, or protective devices.
• Identify and report workplace hazards, unsafe conditions, and any known violations of health and safety regulations.

·Minimum High school diploma.

·Up to 2 years’ experience in assembly and/or machining functions, preferably in a precision or aerospace manufacturing environment.

·Basic understanding of travelers, routings, and assembly work instructions, with the ability to follow documentation requirements accurately.

·Proficient in the use of hand and shop tools including taps, helicoil installation tools, presses, grinders, screwdrivers, and measuring instruments such as vernier calipers.

·Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and workmanship.

·Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

·Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

·Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based production environment.
